SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT…………
October 7th & 8th Six-Man Team Event Results

The early preliminary team event results for SBM held October 7th & 8th on Santee Cooper Lakes are in.  SBM had two teams participate in the two day event.

Team one consisted of members Mark Hodge Sr., Mark Hodge Jr., Elvis Peagler Sr., Bob Otto, Scott Baker and Roger Lindley.

Team two consisted of members Jim Grant, Buddy Robertson, Malcolm Murdock, Teddie Theile, Elvis Peagler Jr. and Tracy Raines.

Final unofficial results observed and written down by myself at the Saturday weigh in were as follows.  Team one came in 6th place and received a check for $967.04.  Team one was in 3rd place after the first day, Friday.  The bite seemed to be off the 2nd day as they finished 6th. The two day total weight for team one was 65.60 lbs.

Team two did reasonably well but struggled in day two.  Individually for team two, Malcolm’s 1st day stringer weighed in at 12.59 lbs.

Weather conditions played havoc both days with winds out of the NE blowing 15-25 steady for the entire event.  Water levels produce a few lower unit/prop dings during the event as well.

Cooper River Bassmasters were the overall team winners for the event.  For final, actual results go to the SC BASS Federation website.

Congrats two both teams participating in the event.
